Toilet Papering!

When I was a youth,

I participated in TPing just one time.

It just seemed like a silly thing to do.

Over the years we have "felt the love"

many times as our home 

been decorated with TP and Saran Wrap.

In fact several Sunday mornings in the past few weeks

we have had to clean things up on our way to church.

When I saw this comic today,

I HAD TO POST IT!

Here's hoping that others may 

"feel the love" as much as we have.

Ode to a Beard!

 Many many many many years ago,

this is what Harold looked like.

He was a clean shaven high school senior.

After his mission in April 1980,

Harold grew his mustache.

For 33 years it has adorned his face!

Sometimes it was joined by a full beard.

(When Harold started on facebook, 

I made this his profile picture

and he doesn't know how to get rid of it!)

For the past several years, 

Harold's facial hair has looked like this.

But today it ALL came off!

I don't think we will see his beard or mustache 
for at least 5 years

since Harold has a new title -- Bishop!

Although I hardly recognize him

and it feels like I am kissing a stranger --

I love Harold even if he is clean shaven!

Another Parent Pay Day!

The last Saturday in February

Brad went to the Jordan River Temple

for his own endowments!

  

Each time one of boys has gone to the Temple
 for the first time,it is one of the most 
rewarding events for me as a parent.

I love having them take that step in the Gospel.  

 
Like my other boys, Brad loves to go to the Temple.

He has been to the Provo Temple every week.

This week I went with him to the Mount Timpanogos Temple.

The Temple is a marvelous place!

Blake Does Percussion!

 Tonight was the Murray Instrumental Concert

and Blake played with the Percussion Ensemble.

 It is always fun to see him on the stage 

playing a variety of instruments.

Gwen was in the school play this week.

She and the cast have been rehearsing since January 

and they did a great job!

 She was one of the servants

 

and also a lady hustling through NYC.

 

Gwen did lots of singing and dancing!

She even got to do one of the intermission skits!

 

 What a fun event -- so glad Gwen was a part of it.

Bob Marley is Right!

Brandon gave a talk on Sunday and 

quoted Bob Marley from his song, 

"Three Little Birds."

"Don't worry about a thing,
'Cause every little thing gonna be all right"
