Missionaries All Over the World

In our extended family there are

beginning to be more and more missionaries.

Elder Kevin Prince entered the MTC this week.
He will be serving in the Japan Tokyo Mission.

Sister Kimberly Walton will be entering the MTC this week.
Here she is with her Brockbank Cousins
on the weekend of her missionary farewell.
Kimberly will be serving in the Italy Milan Mission.

And Elder Matt Prince will be returning
this week from the Louisiana Baton Rouge Mission
after serving honorably for 2+ years.

And then there is our favorite Jamaican Missionary --
Elder Brandon Brockbank.

We are so grateful that these families
members have answered the
Call to Serve.

Tragedy in Jamaica

Last week an elder in Brandon's mission was shot and killed.
Elder Jermaine Walker died last Monday.
We appreciate all the love and concern
we have felt this week for Brandon
and the other missionaries serving in Jamaica.
Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers.
A Memorial Service was held on Monday January 24th
and the family will hold a private funeral.

Happy Ben's Birthday to Me!

I had a friend tell me a few years ago that Birthdays

and Mother's Day are all messed up.

On Mother's Day we should hold a celebration for our children
because they made us mothers.
Then on each of their Birthdays they should hold a celebration
for the Mom because she is the one who "birthed" them!
So since Ben made me a mother 25 years ago --
Happy Ben's Birthday to Me!
(and Happy Birthday to Ben too!)
