Grandpa Turns 80!

I am very blessed to have a wonderful father-in-law.

He has been extremely kind to me over the years
even when I used to cruise by Harold's house
in my VW bug which they called my beer can on wheels!

Grandpa will turn 80 next week
during all of our wedding festivities,
so the family celebrated this weekend!
We had a fun family gathering and learned many new things

about this wonderful man.Happy Birthday Grandpa!

School's Out for Summer!!!

After having a child in elementary school for 20 straight years,
with Gwen's 6th Grade Promotion,
that phase of my life FINALLY came to an end!My children have had wonderful teachers
and great experiences at Longview Elementary.Gwen received several awards,
including the Presidential and 100% Attendance.
She was also recognized for Outstanding Scholarship.Blake had 9th Grade Promotion.
Not to be outdone by his sister,
Blake also got the Presidential Award and 100% Attendance.
We also had to squeeze in a Bridal Shower for Bryan and Sarah!
And of course, Blake's Birthday!

I think we are all ready for summer now!
