A Pod of 700 - 800 Common Dolphins
Bottle-Nose DolphinsHarold and I spent 3-1/2 days in Southern California
with our friends, Hans and Elaine.
We had a great time relaxing,
eating good food and seeing a few sights.
We went to the Newport LDS Temple and
visited my Uncle Bob (who is not doing too well.)
The highlight of our trip was a catamaran ride out into the ocean
where we saw bottle-nose and common dolphins.
We came upon a pod of common dolphins
numbering between 700-800 which surrounded the boat.
They were amazing!

How fun...that is right up in our old neck of the woods. The church right next to the temple was our stake center. Hope you had a happy Thanksgiving!
