Sometime back in December during wrestling practice,

 Brad broke his scaphoid bone.

This is the same bone that Ben broke during high school!

 This is an illustration of that kind of fracture.

The scaphoid bone has very little circulation 
and heals very slowly.

Brad's bone had started to heal in May,

but when we went to the doctor in August, it was worse.

That meant surgery for Brad to get it repaired!

 The doctor took bone from his wrist to graph into the bone

along with a screw to hold it together.

 Here is Brad dazed after surgery!

Now the Healing can begin!
