On Wednesday, Blake participated on the Murray's Team
at the Academic Olympiad which was held at Utah State.
There were several portions of the competition
including difficult tests and Q&A competitions.

The Murray Team did well,
but excelled at the Star Wars Competition

where they had to answer random questions the fastest.
Murray took 1st place and got a sweet trophy.

Competing against a number of Utah High Schools at Utah State University, they proved their ability to think on their feet and correctly answer questions in math, literature, science, social studies, and current events. MHS was represented by Blake Brockbank, Caitlin Coplan, Adam Ebling, LeAnn Lam, Mitchell Larson, Angie Nickerson, Madeline Olsen, Jaxon Roller, Peter Rosen, and Nicole Smith. In the individual competition, Peter Rosen received first place in the social studies test and earned second place overall.

Blake thought it was kind of funny that the Murray team won
when it was the only team that
didn't "dress up" for the competition.
