Sixth Grade Shakespeare
One of my Favorite Things about 6th Grade is Shakespeare. Blake is my fifth child to be in 6th grade and like his older brothers is loving Shakespeare. Mrs. Johnson is an amazing teacher and is the biggest reason my children love it. While studying Shakespeare the children (and parents) learn about Elizabethan England. Blake has been part of the cast system and has moved up from being a serf to a knight. He has made his own Coat of Arms and other projects. But the best part about Shakespeare is being able to perform! Today was Dress Rehearsal and I got the opportunity to take pictures of the production. I love having a digital camera because I took nearly 300 pictures today. Here are some of my favorites of Blake:

Happy Valentine's Day!
I know it has been a few weeks since I posted, but my life was out of control with snow, work, helping children with big school projects and laundry (which is what truly defines my life!)
I thought Valentine's Day would be a good day to write about. I was driving Blake and Gwen to school and listening to the radio talk of all the school closures because of the big snow storm that had hit Utah the night before. Blake all of sudden said, "That would be awful to have a snow day on Valentine's Day!" No one wants to miss Valentine's Day. It would have been a great day, except I got sicker and sicker as it progressed. I had lots of big plans to celebrate with my family to let them know that they are my Valentines, but instead I went to bed! I did want to post some pictures from the last couple of weeks about what's been happening with us!
It was 70's Day at school and Gwen wore my "Bow Blouse."What memories I have of wearing this blouse
that wrapped and wrapped around my neck!
Grady Giles Gunter was born on February 5th.We feel like Amber, Walter and their family are part of our family.
We were thrilled with Grady's safe arrival.

A Red Valentine's Dinner! This was going to be a Fancy Red Dinner, but when the
mom got sick, the family just ate it out of the pans!

Gordon B. Hinckley 1910 - 2008
My heart is full when I think about the
Prophet President Hinckley.
He has blessed my life as he as led the Church.
I am so grateful that I have been alive during his administration.
What a great example he has been and
a strong witness of The Lord Jesus Christ.

Jr. Jazz Basketball
This means lots of practices and games
because we have lots of boys!
Blake never met a shot he didn't like!
Brad would much rather be playing defense!

Prince Family Bible
information about my ancestors.
My cousin Alan called me to share a find
that had recently come into his possession --
The Family Bible of my Great Grandfather, Francis Prince.
As a family we have enjoyed being able to
turn the pages of this amazing book --
Not only because it was Francis Prince's,
but what a treasure this Bible edition is!
