"He that troubleth his own house shall inherit the wind."
Proverbs 11:29
I was watching an old movie the other night
and this scripture was quoted.
I have been thinking and thinking about its message
and what that means to me.
I am very blessed to have amazing children ~
each one is a great inheritance to me.
Sometimes we disagree or don't see eye to eye,
but we do love each other very much.
I am also very pleased with the things
that my children have accomplished.
Tonight was one of those reward nights as a parent.
Brandon graduated from Seminary
and was one of the speakers at graduation.
What a great blessing it was to hear him
and feel of his spirit and testimony.
My inheritance is not the wind, but this seminary graduate.

Congrats to Brandon. I didn't realize they did Seminary Graduation separately between the stakes. When I graduated (yes, I did graduate) we did it at Temple Square. Anyway you do have awesome kids.
He looks like a hoodlum with that hair of his. I can't believe he gave a talk in front of the stake presidency looking like that. We do love you, though, regardless of how many times we may not see eye to eye. Thanks for being such an awesome mom.
I like how you tied the scripture into this post. The end of the year is always so busy!!! Yet, these accomplishments make you so proud! (I mean happy for their good choices)
