At the beginning of August I took Brad, Blake, Gwen & Maddie
to Seven Peaks Water Park in Provo.
It was IHC Day and very crowded,
but we were determined to go on some waterslides.

which is the blue slide in the background.
All four kids went down and then it was my turn.
The lifeguard girl instructed me to not push off,
but just put my hands behind my head and cross my legs.

in the tube portion of the slide.
I couldn't go back to the start and all I could see
was an hole at the end with sky showing --
and I knew it dropped off at 90 degrees!
My only option was to keep trying to
push myself forward to the drop off!
This process took forever and I dreaded what was ahead.
Finally I made it to the hole and fell!
The only problem was when I hit the water at the bottom
my modest one piece suit became a thong!
This mortified my children who instructed me later
that I was supposed to pull it out of my "crack" before standing up!
Who Knew!?!

HAHAHA. I hate that slide. I've been on it once and feel no need to prove that I can do it again...
Oh Dear! Thanks for giving me a good laugh to start my day!!!

Thanks for the laugh!
Hey are you going to the Y game tomorrow? I bought 4 tickets on KSL.com this morning. SO dang excited to be going. I follow football faithfully but its been way too long since I've actually gone to a game.
that.is.hilarious!! I went on that ride once. I think it's been over 10 years but I still remember that 'flying' feeling!
Where is the picture of you thong suit? J/K
