It seems in the last month or so that I have had a lot to do with Bugs!
First when we went to Virginia to visit Ben & Alyse
we were confronted with this beauty:
we were confronted with this beauty:
I know this looks like a spider, but it is a Camel Cricket or Spider Cricket.
There was community of them living in Ben & Alyse's Apartment.
Each morning were were greeted by several.
We worked on keeping the bugs from coming into the apartment
and I killed my share each day.
They were huge, but the worst part was that they jumped!!!
My bug adventures continued this weekwhen Blake had to collect 25 insects for his science class.
He would catch them in a Cool Whip container
and put them in the freezer to die
before pinning them to his board.
Who knew we had so many bugs living around our home!

I can so clearly remember having to do a bug collection for my 9th grade biology class. I lived in GA at the time so I got some pretty big ones! And I'm pretty sure if you have all those bugs in your house, so do we.
eeeeeeeeeeew
Those spider crickets look like they have frog legs! LOL So gross!
Love Blake's presentation of his collection. He's a boy and it looks just like it should. ;)
I've had sooo many nightmares about those spider crickets!!! It's been raining all week. I think it has made even more take up residence in my house :( I don't know if I could handle the big project that Blake did.
